Responsibilities
- Manage the entire parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and sourcing strategies to secure the best value.
- Coordinate procurement activities with manufacturing or service teams to meet production schedules and customer needs efficiently.
- Oversee purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and budget constraints while optimizing supply chain operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting technicians, service advisors, or clients with parts inquiries and order status updates.
- Conduct regular stock audits, analyze demand trends,
and implement sourcing strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dealership or manufacturing parts department with a strong understanding of supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry with high attention to detail for accurate inventory records.
- Experience in purchasing negotiations and procurement processes that maximize value while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues promptly.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
