Responsibilities
- Perform tire inspections to identify wear, damage, or defects using hand tools and power tools.
- Remove and replace tires efficiently, utilizing heavy lifting techniques and proper safety procedures.
- Balance tires to ensure smooth vehicle operation and optimal performance.
- Conduct wheel alignments and basic mechanical repairs related to tire maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs, offering recommendations, and answering questions clearly.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to support overall shop operations.
Experience
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience working with heavy lifting equipment or performing physically demanding tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, tire sales, and maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
