White Wilderness Heliskiing is seeking an experienced Executive Chef for the upcoming winter season.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the overall standard and daily execution of the lodge culinary program. The Executive Chef will lead a small professional kitchen team while remaining actively involved in preparation, cooking, plating and service.
We are looking for a well-rounded chef with strong technical ability, sound organization and a consistent approach to quality. Experience within a lodge, boutique hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the kitchen and culinary team.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of food quality, preparation and presentation.
- Plan and execute well-balanced seasonal menus.
- Remain actively involved in preparation, cooking, plating and service.
- Provide clear direction and supervision to culinary staff.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen throughout preparation and service.
- Manage ordering, receiving, inventory and appropriate stock levels.
- Monitor food quality, portioning and consistency.
- Ensure dietary requirements and food allergies are handled accurately.
- Maintain established food-safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Support responsible food and purchasing cost management.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, storage and work areas are properly maintained.
- Communicate effectively with lodge management regarding culinary requirements and operational matters.
- Set and maintain a qualified standard of conduct within the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or in a comparable senior culinary position.
- Strong professional cooking and kitchen-management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small culinary team.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation and service execution.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a seasonal lodge environment.
- Professional, dependable and team-oriented approach.
- Culinary certification or Red Seal designation preferred.

Compensation: $37.00–$42.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
