Join the Aces Team! Now Hiring: Pre-Competitive Swim Coach (Woodstock)

The Wilmot Aquatic Aces Club is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Pre-Competitive Swim Coach to join our team at the Southside Aquatic Centre in Woodstock! If you love working with kids, building swimmer confidence, and sharing your passion for the sport, we want to hear from you.

Position Details:

- Location: Southside Aquatic Centre (Woodstock, ON)
- Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays - 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (3 on-deck hours/week)
- Additional Opportunities: Potential for extra hours and coverage throughout the season.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead and inspire young swimmers in our Pre-Competitive program.
- Teach basic stroke mechanics, turn techniques, and racing fundamentals in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.
- Use existing and design your own engaging practices and drills that foster both skill development and a love for swimming.




- Ensure athlete safety on deck while serving as an encouraging role model.

What We’re Looking For:

- A genuine passion for swimming and youth athlete development.
- Previous competitive swimming experience is a strong asset.
- Swim instructor/coaching experience or aquatic certifications (e.g., Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor, Bronze Cross/NLS, or NCCP coaching courses) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a fun, reliable team-first attitude.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 6.0 per week
