Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously to guests or staff, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Help with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste to uphold cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless flow of meal service during busy hours

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated newcomers
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry
- Basic cooking skills, including meal preparation techniques and understanding of kitchen equipment
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working as part of a team in fast-paced environments is highly valued
