About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Home Support Workers / Caregivers to join our growing team.
We welcome caregivers with different backgrounds and areas of expertise. We are particularly interested in individuals who have:
- Extensive international nursing experience
- At least 1–2 years of professional caregiving experience in Canada
- Registered Care Aide (RCA), Health Care Assistant (HCA), or Home Support Worker certification
- Experience supporting seniors and clients with diverse care needs
We are looking for caregivers who can provide everything from companionship and basic home support to more specialized and complex care.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your experience and assigned client needs, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and meaningful presence to reduce loneliness
- Offering emotional support through listening, reassurance, and empathy
- Engaging clients in conversation, reading, games, puzzles, memory activities, and shared interests
- Supporting cognitive health and meaningful daily activities
- Encouraging hobbies and activities that are important to the client
- Accompanying clients on walks and light physical activities, as appropriate
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and transfers
- Supporting meal planning, meal preparation, and encouragement with eating
- Supporting social connection with family, friends, and the community
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or community activities when required
- Providing light housekeeping related to client care, including tidying client areas and laundry
- Observing and reporting changes in mood, behavior, or condition to the care team
- Encouraging independence while providing appropriate support and supervision
Specialized Care Experience — An Asset
We are also looking for caregivers who have experience supporting clients with:
- Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
- Post-operative recovery
- Disabilities and mobility limitations
- Autism and developmental needs
- Complex or challenging care needs
- Palliative or end-of-life care
- Live-in and overnight care
- Specialized home-support needs
You do not need experience in every area listed above. We are interested in understanding your individual skills, experience, and areas of strength so we can match you with appropriate clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience; 1–2+ years of Canadian caregiving experience is preferred
- HCA, RCA, Home Support Worker, or equivalent certification preferred
- International nursing experience is an asset
- Experience with personal care, mobility support, and transfers
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and company procedures
- Ability to work live-in, overnight, live-out, part-time, or casual shifts, depending on availability
- Additional language skills are an asset and may help support client communication

Compensation
