Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Ice Cream Cook to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality ice cream products, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining efficient production processes. Responsibilities

- Prepare and mix ingredients according to specified recipes and production guidelines
- Operate and monitor equipment used in ice cream manufacturing, including pasteurizers, mixers, and freezers
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product consistency and safety
- Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge when necessary
- Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of machinery and materials such as forklifts when applicable




- Support inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished goods using basic math skills

Experience

- Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food processing, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment operation is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and inventory management
- Experience working with forklifts or other material handling equipment is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
