Position Overview
ShoreLine Pavement Marking is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee pavement marking projects and lead field crews. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating work, supervising crews, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and completing projects efficiently and on schedule.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 2-4 employees and play a key role in delivering high-quality pavement marking services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution of pavement marking projects.
- Plan labour, equipment, materials, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
- Coordinate routes, crews, and operational planning.
- Assist with jobsite preparation prior to the start of projects.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work quality, efficiency, and timelines are maintained.
- Monitor project progress and address any operational challenges.
- Delegate job tasks to crew members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Conduct on-site orientations and training for employees.
- Promote a safe, productive, and professional work environment.
- Perform pavement marking work including painting or removing markings as the lead team member on projects.
- Operate various tools and equipment including: line stripers, line drivers, hand sprayers, laser lines, measurement equipment, hand and power tools
- Maintain and manage stencils used in pavement marking.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment including daily inspections, cleaning, and lubrication.
- Ensure assigned trucks, trailers, and equipment are properly maintained and organized.
- Monitor productivity, safety, and quality standards at job sites and within the shop/yard.
- Complete daily paperwork including: site meeting logs, crew daily reports, equipment inspection forms, attendance tracking, time and material summaries, safety documentation
- Maintain clear communication with management regarding project progress and operational needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of supervisory or crew leadership experience
- Experience in line painting or pavement marking considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and varying shifts when required

Schedule:
- Sunday to Thursday
- Day, evening, or night shifts depending on project requirements
- Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak seasons
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
