We have an immediate opening for an outgoing and positive individual to join our team in a sales representative capacity.

This full time position includes a territory that covers the lower mainland and Vancouver Island.

Below is a list of duties and responsibilities we are looking for:

- Work closely with management and the sales team to strengthen and maximize existing business as well as increasing revenue through identifying and securing new opportunities
- Thoroughly analyze sales data so that all opportunities can be clearly identified
- Consistently manage your calendar to ensure time is well spent
- Regular sales visits to accounts that require them
- Email and phone contact with accounts that do not require physical visits
- Identify opportunities and create an action plan in order to place new products in existing accounts
- Identify opportunities and create an action plan to grow sales of existing products in accounts we currently sell to
- Convert leads into sales
- Excel at farming business but also have a drive and desire to hunt new business
- Train account associates on our products and best sales practices, as often as possible
- Merchandise stores on a regular basis
- Daily tracking of sales and weekly reports submitted to management

Basic skills and qualifications required:

- Experience in the pet industry an asset




- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- You would need to be able to stay informed and up to date in an evolving industry
- Must be capable with Microsoft Office applications
- Clear verbal and written communications
- Strong time management

Travel requirements: Lower mainland and Vancouver Island.

- A company car will be provided for this position. Maintenance of the vehicle as well as fuel expenses will be covered by the company.
- Other standard sales tools (laptop/tablet, cell phone, etc.) will be provided.

This is a salary position with a competitive wage to be determined by the experience of the applicant. A benefit package including medical, dental and vision will be made available after probation.
