Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paver safely and efficiently
- Control mat depth, slope and grade
- Monitor material flow and temperature
- Communicate effectively with crew members, truck drivers and other parties to ensure jobs are done right and on time
- Perform regular daily inspections and preventative maintenance on the paver. Report any mechanical issues to management
- Maintain high quality finish and productivity standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years operating a paver required.
- Strong understanding of grades, crown, and compaction processes
- Ability to rad site plans and elevations
- Valid drivers license and own transportation is required.
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Comfortable working long hour seasonal hours
Job Type: Full time
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Experience:
- paver operator: 3 years (preferred)
