Duties

- Deliver expert hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, perms, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
- Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client results and boost sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and handling payments efficiently




- Communicate clearly with clients about styling options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in retail sales efforts by promoting products that complement the services provided and meet client needs

Experience

- Previous experience working as a hairstylist or in a salon environment is required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive client relationships
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Excellent communication skills for effectively discussing styles, products, and aftercare with clients
- Ability to handle retail sales confidently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Experience with front desk operations or appointment scheduling is a plus but not mandatory
