Visionology Optometry

Canada

Let's be honest -- you didn't get into eye care to feel micromanaged, invisible, or like you're just cycling patients through a machine.

At Visionology, we're building something different.

We're a boutique optometry clinic in Guisachan Village, opened in 2024 with a clear intention: give patients focused, high-quality care, and give our team an environment they actually want to show up to. We're small by design, and we plan to stay that way -- which means the right person will matter here in a real way.

If you love good patient care, a calm and grounded team, and a workplace that respects your professional instincts, keep reading.

What It's Like to Work Here

- A low-drama, high-trust team where your judgment is respected
- Autonomy to bring your own style -- we're not looking for a robot
- A boutique setting where patients know your name and you know theirs
- Full-time or part time hours -- we're open to finding the right fit
- Competitive pay based on experience, with commission potential
- In office parking, paid time off, vision care, and store discount
- A clinic that's growing -- and room to grow with it

We believe great patient experiences start with a team that feels energized and supported.

The Role

This is a combined clinical and optical position. You'll be doing the work you're good at:

- Welcoming and preparing patients for their exams
- Pre-testing, history taking, and keeping things flowing smoothly
- Helping patients choose frames and lenses that actually suit them
- Taking measurements, dispensing,

adjusting, and troubleshooting fit
- Being a consistent, reliable presence patients and your OD can count on

No assembly-line care. Just focused, efficient work done with genuine attention.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

- Have experience in optometry, optical dispensing, or a related role
- Have a warm, calm manner -- especially with patients who need extra time
- Show up reliably and take genuine pride in doing your job well
- Are adaptable and curious as the clinic continues to evolve
- Hold an optician license or COA certification -- an asset, not a requirement

Coachability and care for patients matter more to us than a perfect resume.

Why Visionology?

Because we're building a clinic where:

- People stay
- Patients refer their friends
- Your work is seen and appreciated
- There's room to be yourself

And we're just getting started.
