Line Cook – Denny’s Restaurant

Location: Mississauga
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: $17.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

Denny’s is looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food with consistency and care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to Denny’s recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely service

Requirements:

- Previous restaurant or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts (weekends, evenings, holidays)




- Solid multitasking and time management skills
- Food Handler Certification (required or willing to obtain)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
