Now Hiring: Sandwich Artist & Line Cook

Bagel Boys is an artisan bagel shop on St. Paul Street in downtown Kelowna. We’re looking for experienced, dependable kitchen professionals to join our team. If you take food seriously, work fast and clean, and have a genuine passion for preparing great food, we want to hear from you.

Your mission: build exceptional bagel sandwiches, run a tight line, and give customers a reason to come back tomorrow.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and build bagel sandwiches to spec, quickly and consistently
- Work the line during high-volume service
- Spread cream cheese (“schmear”), prep toppings, and portion ingredients
- Handle daily prep and mise en place
- Toast, assemble, and plate orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen
- Keep the bagel display stocked and looking great
- Take customer orders and run the POS as needed

What We’re Looking For:

- Prior kitchen or line cook experience required




- Strong sandwich-building or food prep skills
- Fast, organized, and detail-oriented under pressure
- Serious about the craft with a real passion for food
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to the team
- FoodSafe certification an asset (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule

- Full-time position
- Weekend availability required
- Morning and daytime shifts

This is a role for people who show up, take pride in their work, and are ready to commit. Applicants must be available for consistent full time hours.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
