Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch / Planner professional to coordinate transportation activities and optimize supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing freight schedules, communicating with carriers and internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Your expertise in transportation management systems and strong communication skills will drive efficiency and support our logistics objectives. Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments to ensure optimal routing and delivery timelines
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times
- Enter data accurately into systems and shipping & receiving platforms to track shipments, inventory, and delivery statuses
- Analyze shipping data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, or efficiency enhancements within the supply chain
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist in planning logistics operations by balancing freight loads,



scheduling pickups/deliveries, and coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PL)
- Maintain organized records of all dispatch activities, including logs of inbound/outbound shipments, incident reports, and communication records

Requirements

- Looking for an experienced truckload / LTL Planner Dispatch person with experienced planning and dispatching refrigerated commodities.
- Dispatching marine containers viewed as an asset.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficient in typing and managing multi-line phone systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret shipping data and generate actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for interacting with carriers, vendors, and team members

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 56.0 per week
