Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Superintendent and lead the successful execution of large-scale building projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily site operations, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Your leadership will drive efficiency, quality, and collaboration across all phases of construction, making a tangible impact on our community infrastructure.

What you will do:

- Work with our project teams to implement and manage our safety program on site.
- Promote a safe and healthy work setting for all personnel on site and monitor safety performance.
- Review documents and drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Liaise between stakeholders to ensure construction complies with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Review the budget and the underlying estimate to understand the project and plan ahead to avoid costly issues and project delays.
- Effectively communicate with trades to ensure that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain construction schedules, identify, and solve potential scheduling problems, and advise the Project Manager of any deviations or potential deviations from the overall schedule or critical path.
- Order materials and equipment,



and request sufficient manpower throughout the project to maintain schedule and productivity.
- Adhere to quality standards, monitor the performance of sub-contractors, and implement techniques to ensure quality issues are addressed proactively.
- Effectively monitor expenditures, review invoices in detail, and manage labour and material costs
- Supervise and develop site team members through regular feedback, training, and coaching.

What you bring to the Team:

- 3+ years of Leadership experience (Supervisory).
- 5+ years of experience working on residential multi-family residential wood frame construction projects/buildings.
- Basic knowledge of software programs, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A strong understanding of WorksafeBC requirements and safety practices.
- Understanding of project schedules and ability to identify critical path items.
- A can-do attitude and always willing to learn.
- A sense or urgency and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- The ability to read blueprints and an understanding of the BC Building Code.
- Proficient with details and problem solving.
- Valid drivers license.
- Salary will reflective based on experience and abilities ($105,000-$125,000)
