Support worker required for one or two shifts per week - TUESDAYS from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m and (if interested) occasional MONDAYS 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.,to assist an active individual with a developmental disability on the autism spectrum, in person's own NW home, and in the community. She MUST HAVE A RELIABLE VEHICLE, valid driver's license, be a non-smoker, and be willing to obtain a police check, if requested. Must be willing to provide transportation in the community to shop or to a recreational activity or outing. The candidate should be able to think of activities and be self-motivated. Maintaining a clean home environment is required. Please note that the individual is gluten-free and dairy-free. Meal preparation is needed.



Experience working with disability sector is NECESSARY. Punctuality is VERY key to the client - must be able to arrive on time for a shift, or employment is likely to be terminated. Excellent English and written communication skills required. Candidate must be friendly, understanding, and have the ability to develop a rapport and interact with the individual.
