Skilled Machine Operator – Aluminum Extrusion

ACCU-STAFF is currently recruiting skilled and reliable Machine Operators for one of our valued manufacturing clients in Brampton, Ontario.

In this role, you'll work in a fast-paced aluminum extrusion manufacturing environment, operating production machinery, working with tooling, handling materials, completing quality inspections, and helping maintain an productive production process.

We're looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, dependable, and committed to producing quality work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operate, monitor, and adjust aluminum extrusion press machinery
- Set up and work with tooling stacks and basic die configurations
- Monitor equipment performance to maintain safe and efficient production
- Perform regular quality inspections on aluminum extrusion products
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and other product quality concerns
- Follow production specifications, work instructions, and established quality standards
- Safely operate hoists and overhead cranes to load, unload, and move materials
- Package finished aluminum extrusion products according to production and shipping requirements
- Assist with material handling and other production duties as needed
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production concerns, and potential safety hazards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- Work closely with production team members to achieve daily safety, quality, and production goals

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in manufacturing, metal production, or aluminum extrusion is required
- Previous Machine Operator experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Tool & Die and/or CNC experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical abilities
- Ability to understand machinery, tooling, and production requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Physically capable of lifting 30+ lbs and standing for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically active duties throughout a 12-hour shift
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be able to successfully complete a police background check
- Must have appropriate safety equipment, including steel-toe safety footwear and safety glasses
- Must have full availability for the required continental rotating schedule

Shift Schedule

This position follows a 12-hour continental rotating schedule:

- Rotation between day and night shifts every two weeks




- 12-hour shifts
- Includes every other weekend
- Candidates must be available for both day and night rotations
- Full-time availability is required
