LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic is a medical fitness clinic with 12 locations across Canada (9 locations in BC) specializing in chronic disease prevention and management. We offer personalized exercise, health education and health coaching in a small group workplace.

We are looking for Kinesiologists to work in our exercise sessions. The right candidate is an organized, energetic and approachable person who enjoys working with middle aged and older adults.

Job Responsibilities

- Keeping accurate member records, including medical history, medications, goals and coaching notes.
- Taking resting and exercising blood pressure and heart rates.
- Complete postural and fitness assessments
- Create and update program designs for each member,



considering their current fitness level, function & mobility, goals and medical history.
- Coaching and educating members towards healthy habit adoption.
- Manage symptomatic members as appropriate.
- Written communications to other health care professionals as required.
- Demonstrating, cueing and correcting exercises.

Required

- A degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science
- Valid CPR/AED and first aid certification.
- Experience in working in an exercise setting with clinical populations and older age adults is an asset.
- Great interpersonal skills
- A Clinical Exercise Physiology Certification (CSEP-CEP or ACSM CCEP) or demonstrated competency and a willingness to self-study to obtain this certification within six months of employment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12.0 per week
