Job Summary
The Parkway Retirement Community is looking for a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team!

This position is responsible for serving tenants, maintaining service flow, supervising staff, and performing general kitchen duties. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a sincere desire to provide the highest standard of service to our residents. Previous experience as a server and knowledge or experience working with seniors will be considered assets.

This is a full-time position with morning and evening shifts. We are flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate appointments and life outside of work.

Responsibilities

- Supervise dining room staff, including training
- Oversee the use of POS systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in menu planning and execution, incorporating seasonal offerings as appropriate.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
