Job Summary
Just Temptations is looking for a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience decorating cakes with both buttercream and fondant, using various piping nozzle tips, applying edible images, and creating fondant figurines. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to produce high-quality cakes that meet customer expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Cover and finish cakes smoothly using buttercream and fondant
- Use a variety of nozzle tips for piping borders, flowers, lettering, and decorative details
- Apply and work with edible images on cakes and desserts
- Create fondant figurines, toppers, and custom decorative pieces
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests, themes, and design specifications
- Ensure cakes are visually appealing, neat, and completed on time
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Handle cakes and decorations carefully to avoid damage
- Work closely with the bakery team to meet production deadlines
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or similar role




- Solid skills in buttercream and fondant cake covering
- Experience using multiple piping nozzle tips for detailed cake decoration
- Ability to work with edible images
- Experience making fondant figurines and custom cake decorations
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Creative, artistic, and able to replicate designs accurately
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a bakery, cake shop, or custom cake business
- Ability to interpret customer ideas and turn them into finished cake designs
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy holiday periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
