General Duties of an Automotive Service Manager:

As our Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our service department, ensuring efficient operations, exceptional customer satisfaction, and a productive and positive work environment for our service team. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and Managing the Service Team: Recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Implementing and maintaining processes to deliver outstanding customer service, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally, and building long-term customer relationships.
- Optimizing Service Department Operations: Streamlining workflows, managing appointments, dispatching work effectively, and ensuring timely and accurate service completion.
- Managing Service Department Finances: Monitoring and controlling costs, achieving revenue targets, managing warranty claims, and ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.
- Maintaining a Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining equipment, and fostering a clean and organized service area.




- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of new technologies, service procedures, and manufacturer updates.
- Working Collaboratively: Liaising with other dealership departments, including sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations.
- Setting and Achieving Goals: Developing and implementing strategies to improve service department performance and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Salary Guidelines:

The salary for an Automotive Service Manager in the Cariboo region of British Columbia can vary depending on experience, dealership size, and brand. However, you can generally expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000+ per year, with potential for bonuses and performance-based incentives. This range is intended as a guideline and will be discussed in detail with qualified candidates. Qualifications:

- Proficiency in dealership management software.
- Valid driver's license.
