Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity.
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental health and overall quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning personal spaces, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status, observe changes in condition, and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both clients and caregivers.

Requirements





- Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in similar caregiving roles within assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards.
- Solid skills in caregiving, home care tasks, meal preparation, cleaning, and supporting clients’ daily routines.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols diligently.
- Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential is preferred; relevant training in dementia care or assisted living is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 44.0 per week
