We are in Winterburn, Edmonton looking for an experienced sandblaster to start working right away for morning shift- 4 hours min

Core Duties:

- Follow schedule for sandblasting as per work deadlines.
- Perform sandblasting on Trailers, Trucks & parts/equipment to remove paint, scale, grease, tar, rust corrosion, and foreign objects to desired specifications
- Operation of air compressor, Sandblasting port, air hose, air filter to remove dust
- Repair and maintenance of equipment as needed such as clean, lubricate and replace parts is desired skill but not mandatory.
- Routine housekeeping in sandblasting area

Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of previous experience as a sandblaster for Trucks, Trailers & Equipment
- Working knowledge of safety devices necessary for sandblasting
- Forklift certification (Preferred)
- WHMIS

You must have your own sandblasting PPE(Blasting respirator helmet,



Blast Suit, Gloves etc)

Experience with Long periods of operating high pressure blasting equipment

- Regular exposure to sand, dust, and dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring adherence to safety precautions and proper use of PPE
- May be required to work weekends and outside of regular office hours
- May be required to work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and heat

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
