Social Media Manager – Meta Ads & Content (Immigration Consulting)

Location: Mississauga, ON — in person (on-site parking available) Job type: Full-time, permanent Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 per year, based on experience

About the role

We're an immigration consulting firm looking for a Social Media Manager to own our presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube — organic content and paid campaigns both.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be the person creating the content, running the ads, reading the numbers, and deciding what to do next. If you like owning a channel end to end rather than executing someone else's plan, you'll do well here.

What you'll do

Plan and run paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager — lead generation, traffic, conversions — and manage the budget against cost per lead and ROAS

Create the content: reels, short-form video, graphics, stories, captions, and written posts

Build and maintain the content calendar, and schedule posts through Meta Business Suite or similar

Report monthly on reach, engagement, leads, cost per lead, and conversion rate, with a clear recommendation attached to each number

A/B test creatives, copy, and audiences to bring cost per lead down

Respond to comments, DMs, reviews, and inquiries professionally and on time

Track competitors, platform changes, and what's working in immigration marketing

Keep all immigration-related content accurate — no unrealistic promises,



no unverified claims — and handle client stories, photos, and testimonials confidentially

What you need

2+ years running paid social campaigns in Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram), with real budget responsibility

2+ years managing social media accounts for a business or clients

Strong short-form video and graphic skills — Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or Premiere Pro

Sharp copywriting in English: clean, error-free captions and ad copy

Comfort reading campaign analytics and adjusting based on what they say

Ability to juggle several campaigns and deadlines at once

Preffered

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Digital Media

TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile

SEO fundamentals

Experience marketing immigration, education, recruitment, legal, or other professional services
