- We are seeking a full-time Landscaper to join our crew. We are looking for reliable, honest and hard-working individual with an eye for detail. Terms are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay is based on prior experience, tool proficiency and plant identification. Benefits are available upon completing probationary work period. Job Summary
- Join a crew of 2-4 people and be responsible for producing high quality landscape work
- Take care of landscape needs of high end properties and meticulous strata buildings and beyond
- Attend to daily tasks such as garden bed maintenance, pruning, shearing, clean up and planting
- Operate gasoline and battery powered lawnmowers, line trimmers, leaf blowers, mechanical hedge trimmers, power washers, and chainsaws
- Take care of shrubs, trees, and hedges using orchard ladders, mechanical hedge trimmers and pole pruners
- Work in all weather conditions safely – rain or shine
- Appropriate pruning in accordance to horticultural standards
- Provide consistent high quality results every day for each client we service
Skills and Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a clean drivers abstract or have reliable transportation to morning staging location (subject to change)
- Must be Must have at least 2 years of landscaping experience
- Must have some understanding of plant material and landscape tools
- Must be able to pick up and handle up to 23 kg (50 pounds)
- Effectively and respectfully follow instructions from supervisors and company management
