Duties

- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to promote effective watering practices
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to carry out gardening and landscaping activities
- Use power tools safely for tasks like edging, digging, or material handling under supervision
- Aid in excavation projects using equipment like excavators when trained and certified to do so
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and longevity




- Support construction activities such as installing features or preparing sites for planting or development projects

Skills

- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles including planting, pruning, and soil management
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance practices
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality work
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or construction is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $17.60-$17.61 per hour
