Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Skidsteer Operator to join our construction team! In this vital role, you will operate skid steer loaders to assist with various construction projects, including site preparation, material handling and grading. Your expertise will help ensure projects progress efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the successful completion of infrastructure and development initiatives.
Duties
- Operate skid steer loaders with precision to perform tasks such as loading, lifting, grading, and excavation across diverse construction sites.
- Assist with the operation of other heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers to support project needs.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to execute site preparation activities like leveling ground and clearing debris
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently during equipment operation and on-site activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Support additional construction tasks requiring mechanical knowledge or specialized equipment operation as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
- Robust mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively
- Experience in construction projects involving horizontal drilling or site excavation is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sites.
- Prior work with Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is advantageous
- Demonstrated understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
