Role Details

Description The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.

This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Help us bring Run Day to life! Join our Saturday Event Set-Up team and help prepare the site so everything is ready to welcome participants on Sunday.

Tasks for this role include:

- Help prepare the event site for Run Day
- Move and set up tents, tables and chairs
- Help install banners, fencing, signage and event décor
- Move event materials and supplies to designated areas
- Help organize event areas and prepare supplies for Sunday
- Support the event team with additional set-up tasks as needed
- Should be comfortable lifting at least 10 lbs
- This is an active role that may require standing, walking and moving items for extended periods
- Must be 19+
- Bring a flexible, positive and team-focused attitude — if you enjoy jumping in and getting things done, this is a outstanding role for you!
