Support future nurses as a Term Clinical Instructor at UBC Okanagan. This role emphasizes teaching and mentoring in pediatric nursing during clinical rotations and simulations.

The School of Nursing at UBC Okanagan is looking for a Term Clinical Instructor to support NRSG_O 339: Nursing Practice in Child Health from October 19 to December 9, 2026. You’ll work with groups of eight nursing students at Kelowna General Hospital and in the simulation lab.

Daily practice occurs three days a week, promoting protected and ethical care in child health while ensuring an enriching learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate clinical teaching and student supervision
- Provide constructive feedback and mentoring to students




- Engage in orientation workshops and team planning meetings
- Maintain accurate records of students’ performance
- Attend term end review meetings and collaborate with faculty

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse with BCCNP and three years of experience
- Background in pediatric clinical settings preferred
- Previous teaching or supervision experience an asset
- Commitment to equity and diversity principles
- Effective communication skills for feedback
