Join Ontario Shores as a Patient Care Attendant and provide essential care to older adults with complex mental health needs. Engage in a specialized, recovery-focused workplace for geriatric patients. This contract position involves working on a 20 bed inpatient unit addressing the needs of dementia patients.

You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient behaviours, and maintaining safety protocols. Your involvement will directly contribute to the patients' stabilization and reintegration goals. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily living activities for elderly patients
Escort patients safely to scheduled appointments
Observe and report changes in behaviour to nursing staff
Perform security checks and maintain a protected workplace
Record patient insights in clinical documentation Requirements:
Must have a Personal Support Worker diploma
Current CPR – Health Care Provider certification
Familiarity with hospital safety protocols
Effective communication and organizational skills
