Within our CSN Collision Cente r, integrated into our car dealership, the Vehicle Prep Specialist plays a key role in bringing vehicles up to the highest standards of visual quality prior to sale or customer delivery. They are responsible for ensuring an impeccable aesthetic finish for every vehicle.

Main Duties

Detailed Aesthetic Preparation: Perform a meticulous interior and exterior wash (carpet shampooing, leather treatment, paint decontamination).

Bodywork and Prep Work: Sand surfaces, remove rust, then apply and sand filler putty (bondo) and primer coats to level imperfections.

Masking and Protection: Protect sensitive areas (windows, chrome, door handles) using tape and masking paper before work begins.

Finishing and Correction: Correct minor body imperfections through polishing, waxing, and buffing (removing micro-scratches).

Accessory Installation: Install aesthetic protections, original floor mats, license plates, and dealership decals.

Inspection and Safety:



Perform a basic pre-delivery check (tire pressure, windshield washer fluid, manuals, duplicate keys) and report any mechanical anomalies to the service department.

Logistics and Maintenance: Safely move vehicles around the lot and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years in automotive detailing or vehicle preparation (a major asset).

Attention to detail: Keen focus on finishing and cleanliness (dealership delivery standard).

Legal requirement: Valid Class 5 driver's license (mandatory for moving vehicles).

Reliability: Punctuality, rigor, and ability to work at a steady pace within a team.
