Make a meaningful impact on students as a full time Child and Youth Care Practitioner in Brampton West schools. Deliver critical support programs and emotional learning opportunities for youth.

In this role, you will work directly under the Family of Schools Superintendent and collaborate with educators to address students' social and emotional needs. With a focus on well-being, you will engage in various responsibilities including crisis intervention, program planning, and direct student support through assessments and individualized goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote school-wide social-emotional learning programs
• Provide individualized student check-ins and counseling
• Collaborate on safety plans for at-risk students




• Assist in delivering classroom programs for special needs
• Gather and analyze student performance data

Requirements:
• College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth Care
• At least two years of relevant experience preferred
• Familiarity with de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed practices
• Knowledge of social skills and emotional learning initiatives
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
