Intent of the process This process will initially be used to staff two positions on an indeterminate basis. A qualified pool of candidates will be established and used to staff these positions and similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment and secondment).Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

Canadian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for all positions requiring the security level of Top Secret or Enhanced RCMP Top Secret.

The security clearance for all Top Secret positions will only be granted to Canadian Citizens.

Conditions of employment

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Enhanced Reliability Status with Top Secret Security Clearance. NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such,



the process may take several weeks or months to complete.

Ability and willingness to meet and maintain the medical profile standards established for the position.

Ability and willingness to be exposed to violent and/or traumatic events, abusive language, and disturbing and graphic material when conducting intercept monitoring activities.

Ability and willingness to work shift work (24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year).

Ability and willingness to travel across Canada.

Ability and willingness to testify in a court of law.

Must work overtime on short notice from time to time.

Must be on call during evenings, weekends and on public holidays from time to time.

Must carry and monitor a mobile communications device outside of work hours when required.

You need (essential for the job)
Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following

A secondary school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience in a work workplace using a computer with an office software or application suite (e.g., Microsoft 365 or iWork), including word processing and spreadsheet software or applications.

Experience analyzing information, data or reports.

Experience preparing reports.

Experience applying the Criminal Code, such as Part VI pertaining to the interception of telecommunications.

Experience working as an Intercept Monitor Analyst using the Central Communication Intercept System (CenCIS).

Experience working on a project where the safety of a person or a matter of national security has been identified.
