The role serves as the primary liaison between field construction and the engineering and design teams, ensuring work is executed in accordance with Oakville Hydro standards, approved designs, and project schedules.The position supports the execution of Oakville Hydro's construction program by facilitating coordination between contractors, developers, and internal teams, and addressing field issues that arise during construction. This includes coordinating escalations, facilitating engineering review of field conditions, and supporting the implementation of approved design revisions where required.Accountabilities:Coordinate field construction activities associated with electrical distribution projects, including service connections, system upgrades, and infrastructure renewal workLiaise with contractors, developers, consultants,



and internal teams to facilitate construction activities and support the timely delivery of projectsMonitor construction progress and coordinate project schedules to support the efficient execution of Oakville Hydro's construction programConduct field reviews of construction work to verify installations align with Oakville Hydro standards, specifications, and certified design drawingsIdentify deficiencies or non-compliant installations and require corrective action prior to acceptance of workCoordinate the resolution of field issues by facilitating communication between contractors, engineering, and internal stakeholders, including coordinating escalations and supporting engineering review of field conditions.Support the implementation of approved design revisions during constructionAssist with construction planning, including field investigations, material coordination, and preparation of supporting documentation such as bills of material, work orders, and design support as requiredSupport the administration of construction contracts, including tracking progress, coordinating work activities, reviewing contractor quantity submissions and invoice documentation for accuracy, and identifying issues impacting project delivery.Maintain accurate records of construction activities, installed assets, and project documentation.Conduct site safety audits and observations to verify adherence to applicable safety requirements and report any concerns to the constructor and internal stakeholders.Work in compliance with all health and safety and environmental legislation including, but not limited to,
