- Various Childcare Centre locations in Kitchener - https://ywkw.ca/early-learning-childcare

- Pay Range: $22 to $29.62 per hour (based on current funding) + 2% in lieu of benefits
- Hours/Shift: Scheduled based on needs of the program
- This is a unionized position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement with Unifor Local302.

In this Role, you will contribute to the Community by ...

- Assisting in the planning and implementation of a stimulating, developmentally appropriate play-based program for children and their families
- Taking an active role as part of the Centre’s professional child care team
- Providing a warm and nurturing environment for children and families and act as a positive role model for both
- Ensuring the health and safety of the children

Please apply if you have ...

- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the area of early childhood education and development.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Ministry Registration # (asset)
- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and use of environmental assessment tools.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, children, and the public.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
