**Skilled Labourer – Industrial Construction**

We’re looking for an experienced **Skilled Labourer** to join a energetic industrial construction project in **North Vancouver, BC** .

If you’re hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable operating equipment in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your skills to a reputable general contractor team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a key member of the site team, you will:

+ Support daily operations on an active industrial construction site
+ Perform **minor carpentry tasks** , including building small structures
+ **Load, unload, and move materials** efficiently across the site
+ Maintain a **clean, organized, and safe workspace**
+ Safely operate:
+ Skid steer
+ Forklift
+ Aerial work platform (boom lift)
+ Collaborate with supervisors and trades to keep work progressing smoothly
+ Follow all site safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection requirements
+ Participate in toolbox talks, orientations, and site training
+ Assist with additional tasks as needed to meet project timelines

**What You Bring**

✅ **5–10+ years of construction experience** (industrial or commercial preferred)

✅ Proven ability to perform skilled labour tasks on active job sites

✅ Valid certifications:

+ Skid Steer Ticket
+ Fall Protection (Fall Pro)
+ Aerial Work Platform (AWP)

✅ Experience operating heavy equipment safely

✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills

✅ Reliable transportation to North Vancouver

✅ Physically capable of full shifts in a demanding environment

✅ Willingness to complete a government check

**Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)**

+ Experience working with **general contractors** on large-scale projects
+ Familiarity with **basic carpentry tools and techniques**
+ Confidence working around multiple trades and heavy equipment
+ Strong commitment to **safety and site procedures**
+ Ability to adapt in a fast-changing work environment

**Work Environment & Schedule**
