As a key member of the Information Technology Division, you will report directly to the Manager of IT Security. This role involves participating in the creation of security architecture, compliance assessments, and cyber security training initiatives. Your expertise will drive effective solutions for mitigating cyber security risks and improving overall network security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise-wide security architecture and governance policies • Participate in cyber security investigations and response protocols • Implement annual cyber security awareness campaigns and training • Conduct security reviews to ensure compliance with standards • Configure security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion prevention systems
Requirements: • Diploma in Computer Science or Network Security with relevant experience • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and principles • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure security capabilities • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License required • Security certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are assets
