Become a Summer Camp Facilitator with YWCA Regina in Lumsden and guide children through their summer adventures. This role emphasizes safety, communication, and fun in a full-time environment.
Join us from July to August, working Monday to Friday to supervise camp activities for children. Your role will involve ensuring safety, facilitating engaging activities, and building rapport with campers aged 6-12. Solid verbal communication skills are essential to promote an enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily camp activities and ensure child safety
• Communicate policies clearly to campers and staff
• Engage children in various fun activities and games
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting items from 10-25 lbs
• Collaborate with other team members for smooth operations
Requirements:
• At least some secondary school education
• Previous experience with children for 7-11 months
• Availability for work at the Lumsden location
• Required criminal check with vulnerable sector
• CPR and First Aid certification
