Job Posting: Security Officer Positions, Oromocto, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI; Division is looking to hire mature and responsible team members, in Oromocto, for summer and fall vacations fill in security work, sometimes on short notice.

Hours:

8-to-12-hour shifts, days, evenings, overnights, weekends & holidays

The Role:

The Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the site. Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving patrols.

We are seeking candidates with:

- Phy -Physical fitness to perform rounds in all types of environmental conditions - may also require sitting for extended periods of time

- A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks

- Customer service experience

- Valid class 5 Driver’s License

- Security Officer must have reliable transportation to fill shifts

The successful candidate must be able to:

- Maintain high levels of confidentiality





- Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations

- Respond to emergency situations

- Clean Criminal Record and the ability to obtain required security clearances

Designated Veteran Status is an asset but not a requirement.
