What you'll do

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP, Retail & Consumer Operations will serve as a strategic member of the Co‑operative’s Senior Leadership Team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the operations of the B2C Divisions within our retail (Home Centres, Hardware Stores, Food Stores, Convenience Stores), providing strategic direction and leadership in regard to growth and business development, which includes both corporate performance management and talent performance management, strategic planning, marketing, facilities management and operations, risk management and annual operating and capital budgets. This position plays an integral role in building and maintaining strong relationships with the senior leadership team in facilitating guidance and support in sales growth, financial and operational improvements that support Pembina Co‑op’s vision, mission and values.

Who you are

You have 10+ years of work experience in a related industry and 8+ years of leadership experience. Preference given to those with experience in managing multi‑site locations.

Post secondary education with a degree in a relevant field, such as Business, would be considered an asset.

Previous experience in a Co‑operative environment is a definite asset. You possess leadership qualities and demonstrate excellent communication, organization, time management, process management and problem‑solving skills.

You're honest and trustworthy, are results‑oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.

You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
