Overview Job Skills / Requirements Typical Duties and Responsibilities: POSITION IS LOCATED IN WABAMUN, AB Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel, including; police, fire and paramedic resources Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities Handle Lost & Found items and inquires Job Requirements: Have attained formal education to the level of a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent Be duly licensed as a Security Guard by the Province of Alberta, eligible to work in Canada and be at least eighteen (18) years of age Possess such a level of both written and spoken English language proficiency to permit effective daily communication in a position which requires a high level of constant interactive contact with the general public.





Security staff must be of a physical condition suitable for the work environment and the expectations of the work that can be entailed Relevant security guard experience, no less than 1 year preferably 2 or more years.

Must be willing to work shift work, including weekends and holidays Demonstrates a passion for teamwork or has proven experience actively participating in a team environment (school, work, volunteering, or other applicable experience) Demonstrates the ability to think creatively and to problem solve.

Technology experience with CCTV and Access Control systems.

Strong computer skills Emergency management Command and control Customer service experience Robust interpersonal skills Able to make decisions under pressure Be able to work independently 3 interview process, including being interviewed and approved by Trans
