Heavy Civil Superintendent / Project Manager Bridges, Highway, and Excavation Location: Northern Ontario (Thunder Bay to Kapuskasing) We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent / Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction, including bridge work, highway projects, and excavation.

This is a full-time opportunity to join a reputable contractor managing major infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities Lead daily site operations for civil infrastructure projectsfocus on bridges, roads, and deep excavation.

Manage field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.

Oversee health & safety compliance, quality control, and production targets.

Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project controls teams from pre-construction to close-out.

Maintain communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholdersissue progress updates, RFIs, change orders, and schedules.

Provide strong on-site leadership and mentor junior staff and forepersons.

Qualifications 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, specifically bridges, highways, and excavation.

Proven ability to manage self-perform and subcontract scopes on multi-million-dollar projects.

Solid knowledge of provincial and federal construction regulations and specifications.

Robust leadership,



organization, and communication skills.

Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software.

Engineering or construction-related diploma/degree preferred but not required.
