Organizes clinical workload and sets priorities for carrying out assigned workIMPLEMENTATION:Participates in direct resident care as established in care plan.

Applies interventions within established scope of practice standards

Supports resident independence, safely, dignity and comfort

Documents the resident''s care according to established policies and procedures

Provides leadership, guidance and assistance to the resident attendant in completion of activities of daily living

Seeks guidance and direction when requiredEVALUATION:Participates in evaluation care by observing,



reporting and recording resident responses and participating in care conferences and multidisciplinary reviews.

Develops and maintains good interpersonal and communications skills and utilizes these skills in work with residents, families, volunteers, visitors and other staff.

Active registration in the Association of New Brusnwick Licensed Practical Nurses, or eligible for registration in New Brunswick requires.

Good attendance record.

Ability to work in team setting and take direction.
