Nickles Pharmacy is looking for a certified pharmacy technician to join our team. We are a small, independent, family-owned pharmacy located in Marmora, ON. We're looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

We currently have an opening based on experience and availability for:

- Certified Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)
- Pharmacy Technician in Training or those pursuing licensure (role details to be discussed based on status)

Duties & Responsibilities

The following list provides a general overview of responsibilities in our pharmacy. It is not exhaustive, as we expect technicians to already be familiar with their scope of practice.

- Assist customers with questions related to prescriptions and pharmacy services
- Support the pharmacy team in preparing and packaging prescriptions
- Enter prescriptions into the pharmacy software system
- Assess prescriptions for accuracy during dispensing
- Answer phone calls, manage refills, and assist with other daily tasks
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records
- Keep the pharmacy organized and clean
- Assist with inventory management
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients in-person and by phone

Skills & Qualifications

- Certification with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT)
- Prior pharmacy experience is an asset (as a technician or assistant)




- Robust computer skills; knowledge of pharmacy software is helpful
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with PharmaClik or Propel is a plus

Schedule & Benefits

- Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling available – we’re happy to coordinate shifts with existing staff availability
