This is a sales‑adjacent marketing role focused on turning inbound interest into real sales conversations and is not a brand marketing or creative position. About the role:
This role exists to generate inbound demand and hand it off cleanly to sales.
Marketing at MSS is measured by outcomes; if inbound demand does not convert into real sales activity, marketing has not completed its job. This is not an entry‑level marketing role and not a generalist “marketing support” position; it owns the handoff discipline between marketing and sales. It does not close deals, but it directly determines how effective sales can be.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Inbound demand execution
- Run and optimize inbound campaigns (primarily paid search and other high‑intent digital channels)
- Build and maintain landing pages and forms designed to capture sales‑ready interest
- Focus on cost‑per‑lead and form‑to‑conversation conversion rather than traffic volume
Lead capture, routing, and automation
- Ensure all inbound leads are captured accurately in the CRM
- Route inbound leads to the BDR immediately with clear context attached
- Maintain and improve basic automation workflows (lead notifications, task creation, tagging)
- Monitor speed‑to‑lead and routing reliability
Sales feedback and refinement:
- Work directly with the BDR and JSE to review lead quality
- Adjust campaigns based on sales outcomes and feedback
- Identify which messages lead to real conversations and remove what doesn’t
Reporting and accountability:
- Track lead volume, lead quality, response times, and conversion to conversations
- Surface problems early when handoffs or signal quality break down
This role is not focused on:
- Brand marketing or social media management
- Graphic design or content production for its own sake
- Marketing strategy disconnected from execution
What we’re looking for:
- 1-3 years' of hands-on experience in inbound or demand‑generation marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
- Direct experience working with CRM systems, including lead capture, routing, tagging and reporting
- Comfort working closely with sales roles and incorporating feedback into marketing execution
- A strong operational mindset (systems, accuracy, follow‑through)
- Willingness to work on‑site in Long Sault, ON as a deliberate career choice
Salary range is commensurate with skills and experience.
Pay: $55,000.00-$72,500.00 per year
