The Cat Apron is a catering company operating for kids summer camps in Ontario. We pride ourselves in making sure every kid and staff member enjoys their time at camp by giving them 3 meals a day and snacks that they will love to so that they can keep smiling and enjoy their daily activities to the fullest!

This year we are looking for dishwashers/general helpers to work with us at Kilcoo Camp in Minden Ontario starting in June until the end of august

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry and develop essential kitchen skills. Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

The dishwashers/general helpers responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Following the directions of the executive chef and sous chef

· Helping in maintaining a clean and organised work environment

· Keeping the dish pit clean and organised

· Handling simple tasks for service like putting condiment, beverages and so on… on tables





· Helping with preparation if available and willing to learn current skills

Working with us means enjoying summer in the woods near a lake with tons of outdoors activities available that our staff can enjoy during their time off. It also means long hours ,6 days a week, in the kitchen, standing for long periods of time, sometimes lifting heavy charges, coming in earlier for time consuming meals but also gaining tons of experience, new skills and friends!

A typical day looks like:

1. 7:00 to 9:30 breakfast

2. 11:00 to 14:00 lunch

3. 4:30 to 19:00 dinner

With breaks in between. These times are approximates and varies depending on the effectiveness of the team.

Salary is 700/week and includes room and board
