Current Assignment: 249 Hirst Avenue West, Parksville, BC

Rate of Pay: Range: $32-37.50/hour (exempt position)

Start Date: TBD

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week / Tuesday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays)

Job Summary:

The Manager of Integrated Services and Quality Assurance shall report to the Executive Director of Inclusion Parksville Society. The Manager of Integrated Services and Quality Assurance is an exempt position that is responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination, and continuous improvement of community inclusion and employment programs.

This role ensures service integration across programs while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and safety. The Manager leads initiatives in data analysis, quality assurance, accreditation readiness, and organizational training, ensuring that services align with person-centred planning and regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Collect and analyze data to support the development of the annual Performance Analysis and Outcomes Measurement Report.
- Ensure monitoring and compliance with CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Community Living BC Standards and other legislated requirements.

Health & Safety Leadership

- Act as a key representative on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
- Maintain and update Health and Safety and Emergency Procedures Manuals.
- Coordinate and monitor staff incident investigations and ensure compliance with OH&S; standards.

Training & Development

- Organize and oversee orientation and ongoing training for all staff.




- Develop and implement annual training plans and reports.
- Ensure staff are trained in health and safety, emergency procedures, and CARF-related standards.

Personnel & Supervision

- Provide leadership and mentorship to Community Support Workers, Program Coordinators, and other staff.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure adherence to agency policies, collective agreements, and professional standards.

Reporting & Documentation

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents, program data, and compliance documentation.
- Draft and submit required reports including: Performance Analysis and Outcomes Measurement,
- Health and Safety Reports , and Accreditation documentation

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with diverse abilities.
- Strong leadership, management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data systems and quality assurance tools (e.g., ShareVision).
- Knowledge of CARF standards and accreditation processes.
- Experience working in a unionized setting considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Conditions of Employment:

- Valid BC Driver’s License (Class 4 Restricted preferred).
- Criminal Record Check clearance to work with vulnerable persons.
- TB test with a negative result.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Access to a vehicle with business insurance.
