Location: Bothwell Cheese – New Bothwell

Reporting to: Production Supervisor

Shift: Flexibility to any shift

The pay for the role is starting at $18/hr. Plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.

Job Scope:

Working under the direction of the Manager of Process, the primary responsibilities of this position are:

- Assisting with cheese production
- Some sanitation duties which include but not limited to washing equipment
- Performing other processing functions as required

Qualifications:

- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to do physical work which includes some heavy lifting
- Effective oral and written communication skills

This is a full-time position morning and night shifts available Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays required).

Working Environment:

Extended exposure to dust, extreme temperatures and multiple deadlines. Frequent exposure to hazards including chemical substances, hazardous machines and moving objects. Regular exposure to noise and odour.

Physical Demands:

Standing and walking, for extended length of time. Occasional lifting of materials to a maximum weight of 20 kg.
