HGV Class 2 Driver

FGS Plant Hire based in Aylesford, are currently looking for an experienced HGV 1 or2 plant driver to join our expanding transport team. The successful candidate must have previous plant loading and securing experience.

As a plant driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting plant items mainly within Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and lower Essex. Our plant fleet consists of excavators, telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, and access equipment.

Requirements

· HGV Class 1or2 License

· Plant loading & securing experience

· Clean Driving Licence

· Digital Tachograph

· Good communication Skills

· Good timekeeping

· Versatile working hours

· Health & safety conscious

The regular working week is Monday to Friday 06.30 to 17.30, start and finish times do vary dependent on customer drop off and collection requirements. Saturday work maybe required on rare occasions. Pay negotiable based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Experience:

- Load & unload Plant Items: 2 years (required)
- Driving a Goods Vehicle: 2 years (required)
- Driving: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver CPC (required)
